Qualifications
ABOUT YOU :
You are known for your deep cloud-native expertise, your insight into developer enablement programs, and your ability to guide development teams in the adoption of new technologies (or you have familiarity with leveraging cloud-native technologies and the ability to quickly become proficient in Kubernetes, Argo, Istio, AWS Cloud).
- 7+ years of experience in developer advocacy, developer relations, or a similar role, with a strong focus on cloud-native technologies.
- 3+ years of experience in storytelling and creating compelling content . written content, conference talks, workshops, live streaming, contributing to open source, and participating in community events
- You have a working knowledge of data platforms and deep technical expertise in cloud platforms like Kubernetes, PyTorch, Kafka, Postgres;
developer tools like SDKs, APIs, LLMs, and have experience of writing code sample projects, demos, or tutorials for two of these languages : JavaScript, Python, Java, C#, Go, or Ruby
- Proven track record of creating and delivering technical content that educates and engages developers.
- You enjoy self driven exploration and education on new technologies and languages
- Exceptional public speaking skills with experience presenting at conferences, webinars, and other events.
- Experience mentoring and leading teams, with a passion for helping others grow in their careers.
- Strong strategic mindset with the ability to define and execute advocacy strategies that align with business goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Able to communicate with technical users of all skill levels, from junior developers to CTOs
- Passion for community engagement, with a history of participating in developer forums, contributing to open-source projects, and fostering community growth.
- Willingness to travel

Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of advocacy strategies that inspire and engage cloud developers, driving adoption of Intuit’s cloud offerings within our engineering community.
- Mentor and coach a team of junior advocates, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment
- Create and deliver high-quality technical content in one or more modes, including blogs, tutorials, videos, webinars, and conference talks that resonate with cloud developers for internal and external audiences
- Represent Intuit at industry events, conferences, and meetups, showcasing our commitment to the developer community.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Marketing) to provide feedback and influence the direction of our cloud products based on developer needs.
- Build and nurture relationships with developer communities through active engagement in forums, social media, and open-source projects.
- Drive a metrics-driven approach to developer advocacy, regularly measuring and reporting on the impact of your efforts.
- Act as a thought leader within the developer advocacy and cloud communities, staying ahead of industry trends and best practices
- Work closely with partners and open source communities, such as CNCF, GraphQL Foundation, to coordinate dev events, content ideas, marketing collateral and new initiatives.
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $177,000 - 239,500.
This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs .
Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing pay equity for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender.
