Unit Overview :
Patient Population : Oncology, Hematology, Pre- and Post-Surgical; including Tumor Resections and Surgical Oncology.
Patient Ratios : 1 : 4-5
Number of Beds : 18 adult inpatient beds, 6 young adult inpatient beds, 12 outpatient clinic chairs.

Qualifications :
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
1 year of oncology experience (required)
Current and valid RN license
BLS certification (must be obtained within 30 days of hire)
Key Responsibilities :
Assess patients’ physical and emotional conditions, medical history, and health habits
Monitor patient progress and maintain accurate records
Administer treatments as prescribed by physicians
Educate patients on treatment plans and prevention strategies
