We are hiring an IT Procurement Specialist to join our team remotely! This person will join on a contract basis and step in to assist with IT procurement work with a focus on software and service solution. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies aligned with company's goals and objectives
- Ensure all purchases are made in a cost-effective and timely manner
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with terms and conditions
- Seek new and innovative vendors to enhance company's supply chain
- Oversee the logistics process, including inventory control, transportation, and warehousing
- Ensure timely and excellent delivery of goods
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate procurement and logistics-related risks and issues
- Analyze and evaluate procurement and logistics processes to identify areas for improvement
- Implement strategies to increase efficiency and reduce costs while maintaining high-quality standards
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budgetRequired Experience : -5 years of experience with procurement (focused on software efforts in the past)-5 years of experience with contract reviews, cost analysis, and stakeholder communications and risk assessment-5 years of experience support procurement processes and contract renewals-Experience assisting with contract negotiations-Strong stakeholder communication experience-Experience putting together cost saving analysis, cost avoidance, and stakeholder surveys About TEKsystems : We're partners in transformation.
