About The Position
Job Title : Perioperative Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Cardiovascular Surgery Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 08 : 00-17 : 00, Monday-Friday Guaranteed Hours : Full Time Experience : Minimum of 1-year recent experience in a surgical setting required;
5 years surgical scrub experience required. License : Current RN License Certifications : Current BLS Card, ACLS Certification required Must-Have : Experience in surgical setting, surgical scrub experience, RN License, BLS and ACLS Certifications Job Description : Responsible and accountable for the delivery of individualized nursing care to patients undergoing surgical interventions.
- Incorporate current clinical knowledge with established nursing practices and perform interventions utilizing the nursing process.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care delivered to assigned patients.- Ensure effective communications among patients, other staff, supervision, physicians, anesthesia providers, and other hospital departments.
- Provide quality care in an efficient and safe manner, demonstrating an understanding of the functional / developmental age of the individuals served (infant-older adults).
