ROLE OBJECTIVE
The objective of this position is to practice servant leadership and support our Specialty Products Group Service team and technicians and mechanics.
Our Specialty Products Group covers all heavy equipment and machinery beyond forklifts. This includes Taylor Large Capacity Forklifts, Combilift, Genie and JLG scissor lifts, boom lifts, and Sweeper Scrubbers and more.
This person in this role will plan and maintain the organization of Welch Equipment Specialty Products Group service, obtain maximum efficiency, train and detect training needs, motivate and manage the service technicians to meet or exceed their predetermined standards and objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Practice Servant Leadership with Field Service staff needs and make recommendations for growth while providing opportunities for professional growth and career development.
- Ensure team's upkeep and maintenance of field service all issued vehicles and equipment.
- Establish and implement supervisory systems to control and report field service schedules and productivity, with the Corporate Service Manager.
- Address service complaints and problems from both customers and field service technicians.
- Assist in arranging training for field service personnel in maintaining competency in servicing techniques, and servicing procedures or products in territory, and new products being sold.
- Maintain open communication among all departments within Welch Equipment Company.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must be customer-focused.
- Must be company-oriented and support our Service and Customer Service philosophy.
- Able to operate and willing to learn all truck functions and the capabilities of all the equipment sold by Welch Equipment Company.

- Compensation : $85,000 - $150,000 annually.
- Schedule : Monday - Friday.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP : SPG Service Manager reports to the Corporate Service Manager.
