LaSalle Network is partnered with a global CPG company on a Senior Buyer, Capital Procurement opening on their procurement team.
The team is looking for an experienced procurement professional to support the growth and change of the North American CapEx category.
This role will serve as the subject matter expert to identify creative sourcing solutions to internal customer needs, manage the RFP process and contract negotiations.

Senior Buyer, Capital Procurement Responsibilities :
- Recommend and develop strategic purchasing initiatives for the North America CapEx category
- Forecast internal customer needs and identify sourcing solutions
- Provide cost-benefit analysis
- Lead RFP processes for CAPEX category, including contract negotiations
- Serve as liaison between vendors and internal customers
Senior Buyer, Capital Procurement Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering or Business
- 2+ years of capital equipment and project sourcing experience
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to travel (10%) within North America
- Strong communication skills with peers and upper-level management
