Qualifications
Qualified candidates will have a BSCE degree and four (4) to six (6) years of experience or the equivalent work experience five (5) to ten (10) years in land development and / or public works.
Registration as an Engineer-in-Training is required.
Professional Engineer registration is preferred.
Completed coursework in the following areas desired :
- Transportation and highway engineering
- Hydrology and hydraulics
- Geotechnical engineering
- Surveying
Experience must include :
- Ability to take plans from conceptual design to final plans
- Preparation and processing of plans for commercial and / residential land development projects, including roadway, utility, grading and drainage design.
- Knowledge of jurisdictional codes, standards and procedures in the Tucson Area is preferred.
CAD / Civil3D experience is required.
A good driving record is required.
