Job Details
- Travelers can be asked to float to our Summa location in addition to our Akron main campus.
- Burn Care RN
- FLOAT REQUIRED to PICU, TCU - PLEASE CONFIRM TRAVELER IS WILLING TO FLOAT
- 12 week contract
- 3x12 hr nights 7p-7a
- 65% adult and 35% peds but floats out to pediatric hospital into PICU, all types of acute burns, triage burns overnight, Stevens Johnsons or wounds.
- Experience with extensive dressing changes with moderate or deep sedation
Job Requirements
- ACLS, BLS, PALS required
- OH or Compact license in hand at time of submission required
- Epic experience required

Unit Specific Information
- FLOAT REQUIRED to PICU, TCU
- Must float to pediatric hospital into PICU
- Float Policy for specific units including NICU, PICU, Pediatric, Pediatric float, Pediatric Stepdown, TCU, ICU & BICU
Additional Details
- Must carry a valid government-issued Photo ID while on assignment.
- AHA only (RQI Acceptable).
- Preferred certifications not required for OR, PICU & ER.
- National Certification NOT required for Medical Assistants or RRT
- Required annually : HIPAA Safety Manual Acknowledgement, Medication Test / Pharmacology Competency Exam
- Unit-specific competency exam required
- TIME SENSITIVE - Must be completed within 72 hours of signed contract
