Overview
We are seeking a Service Designer with expertise in user experience, interaction, and visual design to lead product initiatives within a pioneering digital organization for one of the world’s most cherished travel and hospitality brands.
Here you'll focus on ongoing innovation and service design across various platforms, especially mobile apps, for things like chat bots and AI support .
Hourly pay rate range : $50 - $52 / hr, paid weekly, benefits eligible.
Duration : 7 - 12 months expected

Service Designer Duties :
- User Journey Mapping : Collaborate with product and engineering teams to map user journeys, identify key touchpoints, and design innovative solutions that enhance guest engagement.
- Service Blueprint Development : Lead the creation of service blueprints to identify pain points and ensure consistency across both physical and digital experiences, including services like Crew Chat, Concierge Chat, Stateroom Requests, and AI-based support.
- Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams to address challenges and refine user experiences within digital ecosystems.
- Creative Problem-Solving : Develop and implement designs that enhance user interactions and drive engagement.
Service Designer Requirements :
- Education : Bachelor degree or higher in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field preferred.
- Experience : 3+ years of proven experience in modern product design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Framer, Adobe CC) and a strong portfolio showcasing real, shipped digital products that are well-designed in both form and function.
- Messaging Applications / Portfolio : Must have experience and samples of designing and implementing chat and messaging applications for mobile native apps.
- User-Centric Design : Ability to distill complex processes into clear and simple user interactions with a keen attention to detail.
- Technical Understanding : Solid grasp of the software development lifecycle and how design thinking integrates into it.
