Contract Litigation Attorney
Location : Century City, Los Angeles, CA
Pay Rate : $70 to $80 per hour
Job Type : Full-Time, Contract, Hybrid
LHH is working with a Civil Litigation firm, located in Century City, CA, in seeking a skilled Contract Litigation Attorney.
The successful candidate will have 2+ years of experience in civil litigation, demonstrating expertise in prepping pleadings / motions, discovery, document review, arbitration, and deposition experience.
Responsibilities :
- Legal Research and Analysis : Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
- Pleadings and Motions : Prepare, draft, and file pleadings and motions in a timely and accurate manner.
- Discovery : Manage the discovery process, including drafting and responding to discovery requests, and participate in discovery-related proceedings.
- Document Review : Conduct comprehensive document review, ensuring accuracy and relevance to the case.
- Client Communication : Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and answering legal inquiries.
- Depositions : Conduct and / or participate in depositions, utilizing strong oral communication and analytical skills.
- Court Appearances : Represent clients in court hearings, conferences, and other legal proceedings.
Qualifications :
- California Bar Admission : Must be an active member of the California State Bar.
- Experience : Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in civil litigation.
- Business Litigation (Preferred) : While a background in business disputes, professional liability or securities litigation, is preferred, candidates with a strong foundation in civil litigation will also be considered.
