About The Position
Job Title : Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Specialty : PET Scans Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM, Monday to Friday Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : Preferred License : Required Certifications : ARRT(N) or NMTCB Must-Have : Certification, relevant experience in Nuclear Medicine Technology Job Description : Perform all typical duties of a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
- Operate PET scan equipment to capture images as required.- Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures.
- Assist in the administration of radiopharmaceuticals.- Maintain and calibrate equipment for optimal performance.- Adhere to all regulatory and safety procedures and standards.
- Document and report all procedures in accordance with facility policies.- Provide support and education to patients regarding procedures.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills with patients and staff.
