Our client in Downtown Pittsburgh is seeking an Audit Senior to join the team
Duties :
Prepare and / or review financial statements
with disclosures in accordance with GAAP requirements
- Develops and fosters relationship with client, self, and engagement team members.
- Ensure that financial statements, work papers, reports, and other documents are prepared in accordance
with professional and firm standards
Identifies and prioritizes issues and workload for self and staff; effectively balances between client
assistance and staff participation to ensure the value and quality of our service.
Coordinates various phases of engagements, plans engagements, monitors actual performance
against budget, reviews working papers for accuracy and completeness, and prepares financial
statements for suitability of presentation and adequacy of disclosures.
Job Requirements
Requirements :
- Bachelors degree in Accounting; CPA, MBA or Master of Accountancy a plus
- At least two (2) years recent prior work experience in public accounting required.
- Ability to travel to client sites
- Has a thorough knowledge and application of relevant professional standards, emerging laws and
regulations, and corporate governance requirements
