We are currently seeking an Epic Analyst that is experienced in the Revenue Cycle / HIM setting to assist with planning, analyzing, designing, implementing tests and maintaining Epic software applications.
Candidates will collaborate with user departments to anticipate and resolve problems, develop and modify procedures to solve complex data processing problems and prepare detailed specifications from which programs are written.
Requirements :
- Experience in Revenue Cycle or Health Information Management preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in an HIM, Information Technology, Finance, or related field is preferred.
- If applicable, must have necessary clinical licensure required by the State of Louisiana.
- Applicable Epic certification highly desirable.
- Experience in clinical and / or financial applications within a healthcare / physician practice environment preferred OR - years of relevant clinical, business or technical experience.
- Must have strong problem solving and critical thinking skills and the ability to build relationships across the organization.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills are also required.
Responsibilities :
- Acts as the primary support contact for the application's end-users.
- Identifies issues that arise in own application area as well as issues that impact other application teams, and works to resolve them.
- Guides workflow design, builds and tests the system, and analyzes other technical issues associated with Epic software.
- Identifies and implements requested changes to the system.

Pay Range :
Compensation commensurate with experience.
