Job Summary
The Senior Manager of Marketing Content is responsible for managing and implementing comprehensive marketing content strategies that align with ASCM’s overall voice of record marketing goals and objectives.
This person understands the value of thought leadership content and leverages it as a critical tool along customer journeys.
This person will use business intelligence and consumer needs as the basis to manage and generate content that builds brand awareness, credibility and trust, generates leads, newsletter subscriptions and conversions while also being relevant and interesting to readers.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Content Creation and Management
- Work with designers, marketing managers, sales teams, and industry experts to develop exceptional content across various formats (written, video, podcast).
- Develop and maintain a robust content pipeline in collaboration with the marketing and digital teams.
- Identify opportunities to repurpose and syndicate content for maximum impact across marketing channels.
- Stay informed about the latest content marketing trends, best practices, and generative AI technologies to continuously enhance ASCM's content approach.
Podcast and Video Production
- Manage all aspects of the ASCM podcast, including guest scheduling, recording, editing, and promotion.
- Oversee video content production, collaborating with videographers on concepting, scripting, and post-production.
Social Media and Community Engagement
- Work with social media manager to produce engaging text, images, and video content tailored for ASCM's social media accounts.
- Build relationships with relevant supply chain industry SMEs for contributions to blogs, webinars, podcasts, and videos.
Data Analysis and Optimization
- Regularly measure and analyze content performance across all channels.
- Collaborate with the marketing analytics manager to generate reports and drive insights for strategy refinements.
Content Calendar Management
Develop and oversee an annual marketing content calendar for seamless execution.
Qualifications
Qualifications Required
- A bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, communications, or related field.
- 4- 6 years of experience in developing and executing successful content strategies across multiple digital channels

Knowledge
- Core digital media and marketing concepts : SEO, conversion funnels, audience segmentation.
- Content formats and creation processes : Blogs, e-books, white papers, infographics, videos, podcasts, etc.
- Audience development and thought leadership strategies.

- Content Creation : Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Ability to research effectively, interview sources, and visualize content across multiple formats.
