About the Role :
Were on the hunt for a dedicated Associate Attorney to join our clients legal team. This role is fully remote , but candidates must be located in the Pacific Time Zone (PST) and licensed to practice in California .
If you have 4+ years of experience in Litigation, Legal Ethics, Professional Responsibility , or Disciplinary Defense , we want to meet you!
Your Mission :
- Provide legal advice and guidance to attorneys facing disciplinary proceedings, ensuring they understand their rights and obligations.
- Maintain regular client communication, offering timely updates on case progress and addressing concerns.
- Represent attorneys in proceedings before state bar associations, including attending disciplinary hearings and presenting compelling arguments.
- Develop comprehensive defense strategies, conducting investigations, gathering evidence, and preparing legal documents for each case.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to leverage expertise and coordinate defense strategies.
Core Competencies :
- Proven experience in litigation with a focus on legal ethics, professional responsibility, or disciplinary defense.
- Ability to provide effective counsel and representation in disciplinary proceedings.
- Expertise in developing defense strategies, drafting legal briefs, and presenting strong legal arguments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, and a collaborative approach to case management.
What You Bring :
- 4+ years of experience in practicing law, with a focus on litigation, legal ethics, professional responsibility, or disciplinary defense.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in good standing with the state bar association.
- Pay Range : $113K$140K, based on experience.
- Ability to work independently, handle multiple cases, and meet deadlines.
