A drug and alcohol treatment facility is seeking a psychiatric nurse practitioner for locum tenens coverage. The facility is located in Black Mountain, NC.
The schedule is weekend day coverage starting in August and plans to add weekday coverage / could vary from week to week and have several providers slated to end.
Patients are adults with dual diagnosis- mostly drug and alcohol. There are a few acute psych patients. MDs do all methadone orders.
They will always have a PC MD and Psych MD onsite. The EMR is handwritten / all paper. Dates Needed : Jan- May Case Load / PPD : 12-15 Shift Type : Day Shift Assignment Type : Inpatient Assignment Duration : Locums Shift Hours : Part time (16 hours) Cases Treated : Adult treating dual diagnosis- mostly drug and alcohol.
