Senior Manager, Software Engineering

Sam's Tech is looking for an experienced Senior Engineering Manager to lead our Member Personalization Team . As a key member of our engineering leadership team, you will be responsible for managing a team of engineers and driving the development of innovative solutions that enhance our members' experience through personalization.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software solutions that meet our members' needs and align with our company's goals.

What you'll do :

• Lead a team of engineers to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software solutions that enhance our members' personalized experiences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, and ensure that solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
• Drive the development of innovative solutions that improve our customers' identity experience, and ensure that solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the engineering team.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, and ensure that all solutions are aligned with industry standards and best practices.
• Monitor and report on team performance, and make recommendations for improvements as needed.

What you'll bring :

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in technology, retail a plus.
• Proven experience in leading a team of engineers and delivering high-quality software solutions.
• Ability to mentor and guide engineering team in coding standards, deployment strategies, architecture and qualification.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.

Minimum Qualifications :

Outlined below are the required minimum qualifications for this position :

• Option 1 : Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 5 years' experience in software engineering or related area.
• Option 2 : 7 years' experience in software engineering or related area.
• 2 years' supervisory experience.

Preferred Qualifications :

Outlined below are the optional preferred qualifications for this position :

• Master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years' experience in software engineering or related area.
• We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.

2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
