SUMMARY DESCRIPTION :
Provide analytical and technical support for internal teams throughout the organization by creating, maintaining, and planning all item level data related to the demand plan.
This position is an excellent opportunity to establish a fundamental understanding of cost analysis, demand planning and related systems infrastructure for a manufacturing business.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Collaborate with various internal departments including but not limited to pricing, engineering, customer service, operations, procurement, and plant controllers in order to facilitate standard costing as well as maintain pricing integrity.
- Assist in profitable decision-making by analyze unstructured data and preform ad hoc analysis related to demand trendlines, product rationalization opportunities, and pricing optimization to provide insights into key elements for various levels of the organization.
- Coordinate and maintain changes to the demand forecast process including gathering inputs, consolidating information, and coordinating and maintaining data by partnering with the Sales, Operations, and Finance teams to develop a consensus demand plan.
- Compile and assess sales forecasts based on market and competitive information, sales history and customer trends to deliver forecast accuracy.
- Develops and manages processes to ensure that all required system data is maintained with a high degree of integrity. Constantly seeks ways to improve all related processes to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Participate in additional projects as assigned by the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager during the monthly forecasts, annual budget process, and month-end / year-end cycles.

EDUCATION :
Required : Bachelor’s degree preferably Accounting, Supply Chain, Finance, or 5-7 years in related business field.
EXPERIENCE :
Required : 3-5 years’ experience in supply chain / finance role. Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
SKILLS :
Required : Strong Excel skills, strong written and verbal commination, and ability to work independently while focusing on time management.
Preferred : ERP (Oracle), BI Tool (Tableau), Demand Planning (NetStock), Financial Planning (Cognos TM1).
