Design Engineer-Zero Emissions Thermal Management Job
The team working on Zero Emissions vehicles is looking for a collaborative and driven engineer with a focus on research and advanced product development.
Our project goal is to conceptualize an adaptable electric-powered platform for the global truck markets that will enable the proliferation and profitability of clean energy transportation solutions.
The Zero Emissions team works closely with Kenworth, Peterbilt, and DAF divisions and drives global product development activities.
This project focuses on the future architecture of trucks and provides opportunities for creative problem solving and exploration.

Job Functions / Responsibilities
- Develop efficient and cost-effective solutions for an electric vehicle family focusing on thermal management systems.
- Conceptualize packaging of complex systems to achieve excellent space utilization and flexibility.
- Develop an understanding of technology trends, and how those trends will affect vehicle design, to create the right solutions for the future.
- Develop concepts into detailed CAD assemblies utilizing Creo software.
- Collaborate with other team members, departments, major divisions of PACCAR, and suppliers to successfully develop and implement new layouts.
- Be able to travel, including international travel,
