Assistant Professor of Architecture

California State Polytechnic University, Pomona invites applications for a tenure track faculty position in the Department of Architecture.
The university is well known for its learn-by-doing approach and Teacher Scholar Model.
Minimum requirements include :
- Possess an advanced degree (Master or PhD) in architecture or a related field(s) to the position description. The candidate must have completed the advanced degree by the start of the appointment.
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusivity and equity. Evidence should be provided in a Student Success Statement.
- Have experience teaching architecture design studios at the post-secondary education level.
Preferred / Desired Qualifications :
- Experience teaching or potential to teach building construction, structural and / or environmental systems.
- Evidence of advancing academic knowledge and / or practice of architecture through research, scholarship, and / or creative activities.
- Licensed to practice architecture or on the path to licensure in the United States.
