We are currently seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join our team in Los Angeles, California (US-CA), United States (US).
The Desktop Support Technician will be responsible for performing various managed client services for a strategic customer.
These services include : IMAC, Break Fix, Desk Side Support, etc. This role combines strong technical skills with an emphasis on delivery high level of customer service.
This role requires working onsite daily at our client's facility and requires employee to be fully vaccinated on or before start date, to the extent required by applicable law.
Role Responsibilities
- Windows 11 deployments
- Active Directory - Computer management
- Imaging using SCCM
- Troubleshoot issues that may have been caused by firewall, proxy or antivirus software.
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Work with vendors to help troubleshoot and resolve vendor supported applications
- Support thin clients, mobility devices, desktops / laptops
- Citrix / Epic - local device setting configurations for signature pads, scanners, credit card machines
- Respond to tickets and update notes so that user and future techs and completely understand what was done to resolve / address tickets.
- Attend weekly team meeting and actively participate.
- Complete company required training and development
- Close tickets in line with other technicians doing similar work
- Provide deskside / end user support in large hospital environment; lots of walking between workstations is required
Basic Qualifications
2+ years desktop / technical support experience
Additional skills
- A+ Certification
- Must have a proven customer service background
- Knowledgeable of Windows Operating System environment
- Must be able to comprehend and follow verbal and written technical instructions and scripts
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Physically able to lift and move Enterprise and Client technology hardware in our customer environments
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Basic customer interaction skills
- Strong troubleshooting skills MAC Experience
- Printer repair Experience
- Previous networking experience
- PC Imaging experience
- Deployment Experience
- A driven, self starting individual
- A reliable personal vehicle
Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this role is $26.
50 - $32.40 / hour. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
