JOB TITLE (# 25051 ) : Registered Nurse / Psychiatric / Mental Health - Austell, GA
Minimum of 3 years current experience in an inpatient psychiatric unit
Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a Psychiatric or Mental Health Registered Nurse to fill an opening with an Outpatient Clinic located in Austell, Georgia
Requirements of the Registered Nurse :
- Must have at least 3 years current (must have worked within the last six months) experience in an inpatient psychiatric unit.
- Must be a graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate State-accrediting agency.
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing or in a related field or a masters degree in Nursing or in related field is highly preferred.
- Must have an unrestricted registered nurse license from any state (United States).

Schedule of the Registered Nurse :
- This is a Full-time position
- Eight (8), ten (10), or twelve (12)-hour shifts or a combination, with rotating weekends and holidays
Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse :
- Expert in assessing, diagnosing, and treating psychiatric problems and the use of de-escalation techniques.
- Mental health nurses work as part of a team to provide total medical care for patients.
- Evaluating the mental health needs of patients, Facilitating and conducting contraband searches,
- Monitors and conducts timely evaluations of the mental health environment of care,
- Developing treatment plans, providing psychotherapy services and personal care,
- Coordinating with families, doctors, and other health professionals, and administering
- medications.
- May be required to work with COVID-19-positive patients and Patients Under Investigation (PUI), for COVID-19.
