Description :

Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Principal Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Principal Electrical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in leading a small team of engineers, tackling complex problems, and pioneering innovative solutions in the realm of optical semiconductor technology.

  • Take full responsibility for all aspects of electrical design to ensure product features, system performance, and quality are met for cost-effective, high-volume 3D sensing applications.
  • Independently create transmitter, receiver, and compute boards to craft unique products leveraging our client's core technologies.
  • Carefully choose and assess electrical components and subsystems to enhance product performance and reliability.
  • Supervise the electrical testing and prototyping phases, overseeing both infrastructure and equipment.
  • Plan, execute, and document design validation, electrical performance, and adherence to industry standards.
  • Supervise the construction and initial operation of boards, collaborating with both local and international contractors and suppliers.
  • Forge strong collaborations with FPGA engineers, mechanical engineers, optical engineers, system engineers, and other interdisciplinary team members to achieve technology, performance, and scheduling goals.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams to define project requirements and devise comprehensive project plans.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; preference for advanced degrees.
  • A minimum of a decade's worth of industry experience, or seven years with a higher degree.
  • Expert in analog, mixed-signal, and high-speed digital circuit design.
  • Skilled in creating multi-layered, densely-packed, and intricate PCB designs.
  • Understanding of DFX principles and adept at ensuring power and signal integrity.
  • Hands-on experience with schematic capture and PCB layout design tools, with a preference for Altium Designer.
  • Familiarity with high-speed differential data interfaces, including MIPI CSI 2, LVDS, USB, Ethernet, as well as serial peripheral interfaces like SPI, I2C, and UART.
  • Experience in 3D sensing technologies desired.
