As a swimming instructor, you will impact people’s lives while teaching them a valuable life skill.

Responsibilities :

• Conduct classes
• Teach students in and around pool, flexible hours and potentially some weekend hours.
• Create a fun and gentle environment following current British Swim School methods, policies, and safety procedures as directed by the Aquatics Director
• Attend staff meetings and ongoing trainings / coaching as requested by the Aquatics Director

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

• Enthusiastic, assertive personality with strong relationship and customer service skills
• Effectively communicate with children, customers, and staff at pool location
• Disciplined. Follows schedules, safety procedures, teaching methods, and all procedures of British Swim School
• Ability to demonstrate and teach swim strokes appropriately and as trained.

Qualifications :

• Lifeguard certification preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certified.

Compensation and Rewards : $19.00 - 21.00 hourly
