Job Title : CNC Machinist 1st shift (7a-3p) $25-$35 / HR Canton, OH

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team for the 1st shift in Canton, OH. The ideal candidate will operate, set up, and program CNC Machines with live tooling to manufacture components.

This role involves leading and growing the CNC machining department, running 4-Axis mills and manual lathes using ProtoTrak equipment, and machining various metals such as copper, brass, and stainless steel.

Additionally, you will be responsible for conversational programming, using G&M code with CAM software, participating in the machine purchasing process, reading blueprints, and using precision measuring tools to check parts for tolerance.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Canton, Ohio.

Work Environment

Great work environment! Climate-controlled, clean, and very safe. Quiet and laid-back atmosphere with a family feel among 24 employees.

1st shift only with a flexible start between 5am-7am until 3pm, including 5-10 hours of overtime and only 3-5 Saturdays per year.
