JOB DESCRIPTION

Senior Quality Technician

As a Senior Quality Engineering Technician here atHoneywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest level ofquality and reliability for our products.

You will perform various testing andinspection activities, analyze data, and identify areas for improvement. Yourattention to detail, technical expertise, and problem-solving skills will beessential in maintaining our commitment to delivering products of the highestquality.

In this role, you will impact the quality and reliability ofour products, contribute to process improvement initiatives, and collaboratewith cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform quality inspections and tests on incomingmaterials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliancewith quality standards and specifications.
  • Analyze test data and inspection results to identifytrends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate andresolve quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions asnecessary.
  • Participate in the development and implementation ofquality control procedures and processes.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement correctiveactions to address non-conformances.
  • Support the calibration and maintenance of testingequipment and tools.
  • Assist in the development and execution of qualitytraining programs for employees.
  • Stay up to date with industry standards and best practicesin quality control and testing methodologies.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives toenhance quality control processes and procedures.

YOU MUST HAVE

2+ years' experience as Sr Quality Engineering Technician

  • Associate’s degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control or asimilar role.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control principles,methodologies, and tools.
  • Experience with inspection and testing techniques.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Certification in quality control or related field.
  • Experience with ISO standards and quality managementsystems.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis tools and techniques.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
