Rainbow International of Norfolk is one of the leading mitigation and restoration companies in the area. We are looking for an organized and motivated warehouse assistant to join our team.
35-40 hours a week
Warehouse Assistant Duties and Responsibilities :
Move equipment, tools and materials throughout the warehouse
Handle delicate and sensitive products with utmost care
Sort, organize, and store all items in proper location
Report damaged or missing equipment / tools to supervisors
Stack and organize large bulk items
Handle and operate necessary tools and accessories in maintaining and managing a warehouse
Ensure work space is free of all debris and remove safety hazards
Ensure warehouse, office building, bathrooms, and storage areas are clean at all times
Keep exterior premises neat and clean
Work as an active team member to complete team goals
Update logs and documentation for inventory processing
Assist in organizing and maintaining up to date records of all inventory
Integrate best practices in handling all warehouse equipment and materials
Warehouse Assistant Requirements and Qualifications :
High school degree or equivalent
Able to pass drug test / background check / good driving record
Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb during the course of the shift
Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds or more
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Able to work independently
High attention to detail and monitors quality / quantity of inventory
Highly organized and able to store and clean all items and areas efficiently. Compensation : $15.00 - $15.00 per hour
