Data Integration Developer

EchoStar has an exciting opportunity for Data Integration Developer in our Hughes Network Systems division. This position is located in our Germantown, MD office.

Job Responsibilities :

• Create and maintain Informatica ETL transformations, mappings, sessions, and workflows based on technical source-to-target mapping document (STTM) to sync / move data between cloud / on-prem or cloud / cloud or onprem / on-prem (Cloud refers to salesforce or Google Big Query).
• Create low and high level design documents per requirements. Unit testing and help testing teams with integration testing.
• Collaborate with release team to migrate the code (Informatica objects, Unix scripts) from development to test and production environments.

Monitor prod loads for performance and functionality- track and debug issues in production and other lower orgs.

• Liaise with other systems to coordinate business requirements and manage releases. Leverage JIRA for defect and issue management and Confluence for design and tracking.
• Create and maintain Python scripts to load the Informatica error files into a database table.

Basic Requirements :

• Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or a closely related field plus 6 months’ experience in Informatica Power Center or Informatica Cloud IICS OR Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or a closely related field plus 5 years’ experience in Informatica Power Center or Informatica Cloud IICS.
• Experience must include 6 months in each of the following : RDBMS- Oracle 12c / 11g; PL / SQL or SQL Server; Oracle client- SQL Developer or Navigator; and UNIX / Linux.

Will be eligible for discretionary bonus, with funding based on company performance.
