What you’ll be doingThe Sr. Director, Clinical Research Physician will join our team as a research professional to provide support for multiple ongoing studies within the Nuvation site network.

A successful candidate for this position will have in-depth industry understanding, experience, and flexibility to make informed and effective decisions.

In addition, and most importantly, this role represents the Nuvation Bio mission and vision by focusing on the trusted physician / patient partnership from start to finish for every clinical trial conducted at the site, and is key in transforming clinical research for every participant.

The position will report into our VP, Clinical Development.You will be responsible for

  • Serve as the medical lead to provide medical input to the clinical development plan
  • Contribute to the clinical development process including study feasibility assessment, study protocol development, and clinical study reports.
  • Engage key opinion leaders and make scientific presentations at advisory boards
  • Act as medical lead for assigned clinical trials or clinical programs
  • Provide medical and scientific support to the clinical project teams
  • Provide therapeutic area expertise to the clinical project teams
  • Provide medical review of adverse events and SAEs
  • Support pharmacovigilance in case processing and periodic reports
  • Overseas medical aspects of the clinical trials risk management

  • MD degree with more than five years of practicing clinical medicine
  • More than five years of experience as Clinical Research Physician in the biopharmaceutical industry
  • Experienced in planning and managing phase 2 and 3 pivotal clinical trials in oncology therapeutics area.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of clinical development process and clinical trials methodologies
  • Familiar with ICH GCP, and international regulatory requirements and guidelines
  • Excellent communication skills

  • and much more!The pay range for this position is $320,000 to $350,000 per year, which may factor in various geographic regions.

The base pay offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location among other factors.

Our full-time regular positions also include an annual performance-based bonus and long-term incentive units (equity) provided as part of our compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits, depending on the level and position offered.
