Job Description

As a Flooring Sales Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in our sales and project management team. You will be responsible for accurately estimating the cost of flooring projects, sales, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting our clients in making informed decisions regarding their flooring needs.Key Responsibilities :

  • Sales and Business Development :
  • Identify and cultivate new leads and sales opportunities in the flooring market.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with architects, builders, contractors, and homeowners.
  • Provide flooring product recommendations and solutions tailored to clients' needs.
  • Project Management :
  • Oversee the entire flooring project lifecycle, from initial consultation to project completion.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, budgets, and schedules.
  • Coordinate with installation teams, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget.
  • Estimation and Cost Analysis :
  • Accurately estimate project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Review flooring specifications and blueprints to create detailed cost estimates.
  • Analyze cost data and pricing strategies to maximize profitability.
  • Prepare detailed project budgets and cost breakdowns.
  • Client Relations :
  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their flooring requirements and expectations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and address client inquiries and concerns.
  • Negotiate contracts, change orders, and project agreements with clients.
  • Team Leadership :
  • Lead and inspire flooring installation teams, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience in sales, project management, and estimation in the flooring industry.
  • Strong knowledge of flooring materials, installation techniques, and industry trends.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
