OVERVIEW
The Solutions Director is a senior-level individual contributor responsible for the architecture and technical components of our Sunrise solutions suite.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own the architecture and technical components of our Sunrise solutions suite.
- Lead the modernization of Sunrise, including migrating from the current tech stack to a modern code stack.
- Scrutinize the infrastructure and recommend changes as needed, including changes to the data schema.
- Work closely with the development team to plan and execute Sunrise releases.
- Make decisions on features and functionality to be included in releases.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the development team.
- Collaborate with other teams within the company, i.e. product management and sales, to ensure that Sunrise continues to meet the needs of our customers.
QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, or equivalent years of experience
- MBA preferred; relevant post graduate qualifications and professional memberships preferred.
Work Experience
- 14+ years of experience in technology or software development, with a focus on healthcare IT.
- 2-3 years’ experience at the principal level
- Strong technical expertise in HTML5, modern code stacks, and database technologies
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Sunrise experience preferred.
- Experience as a formal or informal leader in a technology organization
- Experience in managing and executing complex projects.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to influence decisions in a matrix environment, including senior-level leaders.
- Ability to think creatively and to contribute to both strategic and tactical decisions.
- Ability to understand and interact with technically oriented team members.
WORKING ARRANGEMENTS
- Remote role. Standard work week or as defined by assignment requirements.
- May require after-hours, on-call support and / or holidays.
- On-call and after hours work during peak times including end of month / quarter / year; during this time PTO is limited to meet business needs.
TRAVEL
Up to 50% travel may be required.
