Registered Nurse ( RN ) - Labor & Delivery/Mother Baby

Employment Type : Full time Shift : 12 Hour Night Shift Description : 72hrs per pp 7p-7 : 30a- weekends and holidays to be scheduled in accordance with CBA Position Purpose : Great opportunity for a Registered Nurse, RN professional to work in an organization that focuses on treating the whole person, physically, emotionally and spiritually! What you will do : Registered Nurse, RN works in a collaborative environment to deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team providing evidenced based medicine and individualized patient care.

A Registered Nurse, RN is expected to facilitate all aspects of the patient visit experience. Employment Type : Full time Shift : Night Shift Minimum Qualifications : + Graduate from a state accredited school of professional nursing.

• Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license required.+ For Staff Registered Nurse positions within specialty area, prior employment experience in the appropriate clinical setting is preferred.
• QUALIFICATIONS : Must have current, unencumbered R.N. license to practice in the State of Michigan; level of knowledge equivalent to that ordinarily acquired through completion of a minimum of two years of college level training in nursing, BSN preferred;
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification; analytical ability to assess and evaluate patient's condition and utilize the nursing process;
• interpersonal skills necessary to almost constantly communicate with patients, families, medical personnel and other members of the health care team;
• ability to work cooperatively within the framework of the nursing team; ability to perform effectively and efficiently under pressure and stressful critical situations;

ability to operate a computer. Labor & Delivery RNs shall complete NRP and ACLS within 6 months of hire and Certification in Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) within 1 year of hire.

This position will be Labor & Delivery / Mother Baby work zones and every other weekend.
