QA Automation Engineer(Contract Position)

We are looking for a skilled Automation QA Engineer to join our Oracle Talent Acquisition Systems team. In this role you will help us deliver reliable and performant solutions and tools to our global community of Talent Advisers.

What you will do :

You will get involved in analyzing, refining requirements and working closely with other team members to perform QA activities to deliver high quality software :

• Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot automated suites of tests through continuous integration for valuable feedback.
• Collaborate with Projects Managers and Developers to clarify requirements, identify / mitigate risks.
• Challenge the team to think through corner cases and possible blind spots.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience with web application, micro-services, and API testing.
• Experience with automated testing and automation frameworks.
• Programming and scripting experience.
• Experience with SQL and database.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities :

• Develop a deep knowledge of the business rules for existing and new functionalities.
• Create, maintain, and update test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Investigate and troubleshoot issues in the test environments and coordinate with developers to resolve them.
• Identify risks for upcoming changes.
• Automate with various technologies (e.g., Selenium Webdriver, JavaScript) and tools to support scalable and repeatable practices.
• Support continuous improvement processes, analyze problems and recommend actions for effective resolution.
