Responsibilities

and Impact :

This position is a senior technical role and will work across software development, QA, SRE and Operations teams to identifyponent and system level technical risks, identify and evaluate critical failure points, determine technical security controls to mitigate risks, prioritize and schedule controls with application development timelines, and work with cross functional teams to implement remediations.

The Sr. Lead GenAI Cloud Security Engineer will drive the Cloud security and GenAI / LLM security architecture, provide leadership to mature the security engineering program, develop security tooling, mentor others and be hands-on partner to our software, SRE and QA Teams.

pensation / Benefits Information : (This section is only applicable to US candidates)

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $132,000 to $190,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual's geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.

In addition to basepensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.

What We're Looking For :

Basic Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience architecting, automating, maintaining, and securing Cloudputing Platforms (AWS / Azure)
  • Experience assessing security posture of cloud resources
  • Infrastructure-as-code tools (, Terraform) experience
  • Experience working with modern development and deployment workflows (Docker containers, Kubernetes, CI / CD platforms)
  • Strong knowledge in security fundamentals, threat modeling and security architecture
  • Deep understanding of Internet technologies, DNS, TCP / IP networks (protocols, ports etc.)
  • Experience with AWS Serverless application architectures, ( Lambda, Kinesis, API Gateway, SQS, SNS)
  • Develops technical standards, testing, log analysis and vulnerability assessments; evaluating and rmending on procedures used to mitigate risks for Cloud platforms
  • Experience implementing cloud security posture management, workload protection, and cloud-native application protection platform tools ( Prisma Cloud, Orca, Wiz)
  • Experience with cloud security analysis and design techniques
  • Experience with secrets / credential management systems, (, Vault, CyberArk)
  • Experience in software development including Java, Python, and scripting languages
  • Advanced knowledge of secure architecture and design patterns for Cloud native Web, and Microservices
  • Advanced knowledge in security best practices, principles, andmon security frameworks such as OWASP, NIST and ISO

Additional Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines / tools ( ADO GIT, ADO pipelines, Boards, Build & Package tools)
  • Experience with or an understanding of modern authentication and authorization protocols and concepts, (OAuth , OIDC, WebAuthn / FIDO2, Zero Trust)
  • Experience with applied cryptography
  • Deep understanding of OSI layer, TCP / IP networks (protocols, ports, etc.,)
  • Experience with WAF, DDoS and other attack mitigation solutions
  • Knowledge of the following development practices and concepts - Lean principles, including Shift left, DevSecOps, CloudOps, continuous delivery
  • Experience working with various Database systems (, Oracle, Postgres)
