Join Our Team : Occupational Therapist School Near Chesapeake City, MD
We are excited to welcome a dedicated Occupational Therapist to our team for a full-time contract position starting ASAP and continuing until the end of the school year, based in a school near Chesapeake City, Maryland.
This role presents a wonderful opportunity to positively influence the development and learning of K-12 students.
Core Responsibilities :
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' occupational therapy needs.
- Develop, write, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and support staff.
- Provide direct therapy services tailored to individual student requirements.
- Participate in meetings with teachers, parents, and support staff to review student progress and set therapy goals.
- Create a positive and inclusive environment that enhances student engagement.
Qualifications :
- Active Occupational Therapist license in Maryland.
- Experience working with K-12 students is preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
