Internship Summary :
Hiring multiple positions! The Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) is seeking applicants that are eager to learn about Human Resources and are looking for an internship opportunity! As a KBI Human Resources Intern, you will :
- Learn various functions of the KBI
- Assist with various KBI Recruitment Functions;
- Develop efficiencies in processes and procedures;
- Support the KBI Human Resources Office and KBI Executive Staff as needed.
Direct duties will include :
- Personnel file auditing and maintenance
- Recruitment
- Local and federal compliance
- Gaining HRIS experience
This engagement will give the intern opportunity to learn basic aspects of human resources and how it applies to the agency's essential services while giving them the experience of public service.
It also allows the agency to contribute to the growth and development of this necessary skillset for our state’s workforce.
Qualifications : Minimum Education :
Minimum Education :
College sophomore, junior or senior, or graduate student majoring in human resource management, criminal justice, business administration or related degree.

Post-Offer, Pre-employment Requirements
