In addition to your primary responsibilities, you will also act as a mentor, providing on-the-job training to entry level fire alarm inspectors, fostering a culture of growth and knowledge-sharing within our team.

As a Fire Sprinkler Service Technician, you will : Inspect, repair, and maintain wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge fire sprinkler systems, standpipes, backflow preventers, fire hydrants, and fire pumpsPerform fire sprinkler, fire pump and other water-based equipment inspections and testingProperly document deficiencies / impairments noted during inspections or service work and follow required process of reporting deficiencies while on-siteAdhere to local, corporate, and OSHA safety policies and proceduresMaintain complete and accurate documentation of all work performedMaintain vehicle stock, tools, and equipment.

Follow corporate policies related to vehicle use and careMentor lower level Fire Sprinkler Service TechniciansYou will make an impact with these qualifications : Basic Qualifications : Technician endorsement for automatic sprinkler system maintenance inspection (to be obtained within one year)Be able to work in a variety of environments in and around mechanical equipment, including climbing ladders, scaffolds, and high-lift equipment, working in ducts, above ceilings, and in outside / inside / heat / cold / day / night conditions;

use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet; carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 pounds unassistedLegally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorshipMust be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violationsPreferred Qualifications : High school diploma, state-recognized GED, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s Degree preferredNICET I inspection and testing of water-based systems or water-based layoutYou’ll benefit from : Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to our employees.
