About The Role :

Responsible for the management and oversight of all aspects of the loan setup process, portfolio conversion, loan sales, tickler review of loan covenants per the legal loan documents and document tracking.

What You'll Do :

Coordinate the facilitation of the transfer of loan servicing data and loan documents from servicers, trustees, closers and third parties.

Primary partner for portfolio acquisitions.

  • Supervise the review of mortgage documents for critical and necessary information; setup of data in Strategy and other loan servicing systems on all new loans.
  • Handle audit converted loan data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Develop, implement and document the policies and procedures of the Loan Setup Department.
  • Oversee process of transition of de-converted loans to respective third parties.
  • Coordinate and run the pre-closing process for the respective Real Estate Partner.
  • Run the reviews of all loan documents for loan covenants and event tracking. Handle internal document tracking process.
  • Expedite elevated requests; resolve appropriate course of action and intervene where necessary.

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, other business related curriculum from a four-year college or university required.

Minimum of 5 years related experience with mortgage loan servicing in : loan operations, mortgage closings or other related areas of mortgage servicing.

Experience in managing, supervising or leading a team.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers.

Ability to effectively present information. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues.

Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions.

Conducts advanced financial analysis.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Products including : Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Must have the ability to work on computer database.

Solid understanding of the McCracken Strategy loan servicing software is preferred. Experience in using query tools and / or understanding general concepts in SQL queries.

Read and comprehend loan document verbiage related to financial terms, loan triggers and covenants as well as understand the general loan closing process with standard servicing requirements.

Decisions made with thorough understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results and timelines.

Responsible for setting work unit and / or project timelines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to department.

  • Please be aware that travel, potentially weekly, is part of this role's responsibilities.
  • Freddie Mac Exempt License preferred.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidates education, training, and experience.

The minimum salary for the Inspector Manager position is $77,900 annually and the maximum salary for the Inspector Manager position is $129,800 annually.

The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidates skills, qualifications, and experience.
