Production Support Lead

Production support lead needed for a FT role with our global client to work hybrid from the NYC midtown office. Seeking professionals who have solid leadership and production support experience with Cloud based applications .

Needs to understand ticketing systems, incident mgt, manage SLA’s, dealing with offshore, work with complex environment, pull people together and pull people in when needed.

Azure is preferred cloud experience.

This is a salaried FT role offering base salary, annual bonus potential and benefits package .

Summary : We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior MERN Stack Production Support Lead to join our team. As the Senior Production Support Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and support of our MERN (MongoDB, Express.

js, React.js, Node.js) stack applications and other legacy applications in a production environment. You will lead a team of production support engineers and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the stability, availability, and performance of our applications.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in MERN stack development, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record in production support.

We will count on you to :

• Lead and mentor a team of production support engineers in maintaining and supporting our MERN stack applications in a production environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and operations, to ensure the stability, availability, and performance of our applications.
• Monitor and analyze application performance metrics to identify and resolve any performance issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, including investigating root causes and implementing appropriate solutions.
• Develop and implement best practices for incident management, problem management, and change management processes.
• Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and address potential issues.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in MERN stack development and production support.
• Provide technical guidance and expertise to the team, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and provide accurate estimates for project timelines.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of production support processes.

What you need to have :

• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a support lead.
• Experience working and supporting enterprise cloud solutions using modern technology stack like MERN.
• Proven experience in leading a team of production support engineers.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools
