Discover Hope is looking for Behavior Technicians to provide Applied Behavior Analytic (ABA) therapy to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder in home and / or community-based settings.

Current openings : Part-time positions available Mon-Fri 2pm-8pm and Sat 9am-3pm with the possibility of moving into Full Time BT Responsibilities : Provide 1 : 1 individualized behavior therapy in child’s home or community settings, Complete necessary daily data collection, Follow treatment and behavior plans as written, Attend staff and / or team meetings as requested, Communicate effectively with all team members, Lift up to 50 pounds, run, squat, sit on the floor, etc.
Have reliable transportation and travel to multiple work sites, Provide proof of valid driver license and current auto insurance, Pass background / fingerprint clearance through DOJ and FBI, Provide proof of negative TB, and the following vaccinations : Heb B (can be declined), Tdap (can be declined), MMR and Varicella, Complete CPR training (provided by the company) Minimum Requirements : Board Certified Autism Technician (BCAT) credential within 90 days of hire (provided by the company), High School diploma and to be 18 years old (some college / Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in psychology, early childhood education / development, or related field preferred) One or more years of related experience with children with autism spectrum disorders and / or other related developmental disabilities (preferred) Work with children on the floor or at small tables Demonstrate good judgment, decision-making, and communication skills Exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, bilingual is a plus Benefits : Pay $24-$28 / hour Paid drive time between client locations Mileage reimbursement between client locations Master's / BCBA program reimbursement offered BCBA and BCaBA supervision hours provided Opportunities for growth Referral bonus FT (25+ hours / week) : Paid time off (PTO), Health Care (including Dental), Life Insurance, and 401k Flexible work schedule ABA, psychology, nanny, kids, teaching, early childhood education, ECE, nursing, autism, child development, children, behavioral health, mental health, therapy, counseling, therapist, tutor, education, educator, college student, entry level, full time, part time, autism spectrum disorder, autistic, sociology, psychologist, human development, BCBA, behavior analysis, applied behavior analysis, RBT, BCAT, behavior assistant, social skills Powered by JazzHR
