Senior Software Engineer - AI Infrastructure - Cluster Networking

Job DescriptionOracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Cluster Networking team is building an ultra-high performance network required to support AI / ML / HPC workloads.

This team will deliver Network-as-a-Service that handles provisioning, life cycle management, performance tuning, monitoring and security of our customers’ cluster network infrastructure.

You should be both a rock-solid developer and a distributed systems generalist, able to dive deep into any part of the stack and low-level systems, as well as design broad distributed system interactions.

You should value simplicity and scale, work comfortably in a collaborative, agile environment, and be excited to learn.Career Level - IC3ResponsibilitiesAs a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems.

Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Basic Qualifications : 5+ years of experience with software (systems / application) development1+ years of experience with distributed systems OR network programmingProficient at programming in any two out of C / C++, Python, Java, Scala, GOProficient with data structures, algorithms, operating systems.

Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skillsBachelors in computer science and Engineering or related engineering fieldsExperience with distributed systems : familiarity with CAP theorem, Consensus, messaging, High Availability etc.

Preferred Qualifications : Masters / PhD degree in Computer Science or related engineering fieldsExperience in SDN, NFV, Cloud NetworkingExperience in Infrastructure-as-a-Service, viz.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations onlyUS : Hiring Range : from $74,800 to $178,200 per annum.
