Essential Functions
- Marketing Execution and Communications
- Serves as day-to-day liaison with key external partners to review + approve marketing materials (including packaging, POP, social media, etc) and manage any supplemental marketing support tactics on behalf of the Global Channels Retail Licensing Division
- Plans and executes photoshoots featuring licensed partnerships and products for content that will help support / promote key partnerships
- Plans and manages annual social support calendar in partnership with our licensed and digital agency partners to support licensed products and partnerships
- Interfaces with external partners, agencies and internal Creative Services teams to create quality marketing elements, material and promotions (including social media) that align with the overall product platform and strategy.
- Works with external partners, agencies, suppliers / manufactures and internal FOCUS Brands teams to ensure appropriate package design and labeling for products.
- Manages the administration of product promotions, coupons, and marketing calendar activities.
- Provides regular progress reports to Project Managers and manager on the status of implementation of defined marketing efforts and initiatives.
- Marketing Assessment
- Partners with the culinary innovation team to brainstorm and test new product ideas that could work for licensed partners
- Assists in conducting & analyzing the customer feedback, market research and the results of implemented marketing programs / sales promotions to have input on strategy and tactic optimizations to enhance effectiveness while keeping within designated budgets.
- Establishes external relationships and maintains memberships in professional organizations associated with relevant industry organizations to gather competitive intelligence on effectively marketing licensed products.
Job Summary
The Marketing Specialist for the Global Channels Retail Licensing Division provides marketing expertise needed for the Retail Licensing Team and its licensing partners to achieve their objectives.
This position participates in the development of Licensing marketing objectives and is responsible for developing, executing and assessing the effectiveness of Licensing marketing and promotional efforts across all 7 of the brands under the Focus Brands umbrella.
- Provides input to the Channels marketing team to develop specific marketing, plans and programs for initiatives and product launches to achieve desired objectives and targets.
- Works with Business Development teams to create marketing material for presentations / meetings to new and existing partners to showcase FOCUS Brands' value and potential / enhanced partnership opportunities;
attends meetings as appropriate to gather information and share expertise.
- Oversees the preparation for targeted tradeshows and events to ensure proper submission of partnership / brand information and development of material that highlights our products / brands.
- Champions FOCUS Brands with internal and external stakeholders (Franchisees, Partners and internal FOCUS team) and advances understanding and support for the added value created by strategically licensing and partnering in multiple marketing channels.
