RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for revenue and contribution margin generation at assigned accounts and new customers for oral and injectable drug delivery services, CDMO formulation development and GMP manufacturing services.
Responsible for supporting product business at these accounts.
- Prepare offers, change orders and project proposals in conjunction with internal technical resources.
- Responsible for relationship management at accounts. Responsible for alliance management at key accounts.
- Negotiate and execute confidentiality agreements, feasibility agreements, master service agreements, supply agreements and quality agreements at accounts.
- Conduct meetings at accounts to promote additional services (and products) and identify new opportunities for the BL.
- Member of global key account team(s) as determined by existing key accounts and account responsibilities and carry out activities as determined by team and key account manager.
Serve as Key Account Manager for some globally defined key accounts, in accordance with our Key Account Management processes.
- Active communications within U.S. and global teams, including maintenance of CRM system with customer contact information, visit reports, forecasting, and project opportunities.
- Participation in conferences, tradeshows, monthly regional business team meetings and quarterly sales meetings.
REQUIREMENTS
- Relevant technical degree required, advanced degree a plus
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry, in a sales, project / program management or technical position preferred.
Key Account management experience is a plus.
- Understanding of drug delivery, solubility enhancement, and modified release formulations preferred.
- Ability to sell CDMO services and manage a large / diverse customer base Ability to write proposals and change orders and support costing and pricing.
- Must be capable of understanding various product lines and drug delivery technologies and identifying opportunities at companies.
- Contract negotiation skills (confidentiality, supply, service, and quality agreements).
Target Salary Range :
$105,400 - $191,200 per year (salary to be determined by geographic location, education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data).
