Leidos seeks a Project Coordinator to support energy-efficiency program Energy Advisors and projects at large industrial and commercial facilities near Detroit, Michigan.

This exciting position offers a unique career opportunity for dynamic people who possess excellent communication and organizational skills to sell leading edge energy efficiency projects within a creative team environment.

Must be able to utilize initiative to develop relationships with customers, vendors, and our energy advisor team with knowledge of energy efficiency technologies, practices, and regulations in electric and natural gas demand side management.

The Challenge :

  • Support the Energy Advisors, vendors, engineering review team, and the end-use customers to create incentive applications for both standard and custom projects
  • Support the program and Energy Advisors to overcome barriers to moving projects forward to implementation at the customer sites.
  • Support the Energy Advisors that work closely with facility managers, facility and manufacturing engineers, contracts, supplies and energy engineers to encourage energy efficiency practices in their facilities
  • Track and coordinate the projects across 4 to 5 energy advisors and their customers.
  • Report to program management on the progress of efficiency projects
  • Develop relationships with customers and vendors to keep up to date and demonstrate knowledge of energy efficiency technologies and practices in demand side management
  • Provide effective organization and communication
  • Coordinate field verification of pre and post installation of energy efficiency measures

What Sets You Apart :

  • Bachelor's degree with four plus (4+) years of relevant experience in energy efficiency projects or overall project management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications are essential.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software is required.
  • It is critical that productivity and accuracy be demonstrated in performance of work.
  • This position requires a valid driver's license and physical ability to perform field verification of pre and post installation of energy efficiency measures.

You Might also have :

  • Relevant experience with industrial manufacturing environments, commercial retro-commissioning, and / or strategic energy management practices
  • Experience in industrial manufacturing environments or commercial building retro-commissioning is a plus

Pay Range :

Pay Range $68,900.00 - $124,550.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
