Client is seeking a Medical Director for one of its West Virginia Psychiatric inpatient units. This is a 52 bed facility consisting of one 34 bed adult unit and a separate 18 bed Geriatric unit.
Administrative duties are minimal (20 hrs / month) and clinical responsibilities will be mostly for adult unit. There are three other psychiatrists on staff.
Call is 1 : 4 and is telephone only.
The hospital is offering a competitive base salary, incentive bonus, medical director stipend and complete benefits package.
Academic affiliation with nearby WVU in Morgantown is possible. This area qualifies as a medically underserved, and loan repayment options are available.
