The Main Responsibilities

Lumen's Finance organization is looking for a Financial Analyst Intern on our Financial Planning & Strategy team. This role supports the Commercial business (AGT) across the four revenue generating segments within Lumen.

This is an unparalleled opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, supporting the financial backbone of Lumen's AGT group and learn the go-to market functions of a Telco / Tech corporation.

Other responsibilities of intern will include :

• Analyze financial data to support sales and revenue forecasting and reporting Assist in the development of budgeting and financial planning for AGT projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand financial impacts and outcomes
• Participate in the monthly financial close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Contribute to financial modeling and analysis to drive strategic decision-making

This position is fully remote / work from home

What We Look For in a Candidate

Program eligibility is contingent on the candidate's commitment for the entire 10-week program. No exceptions will be made.

• Required qualifications
• Enrolled at a 4-year accredited college or university, rising senior or master's level education status at the start of the internship
• Graduating August 2025 - May 2026
• Preferred fields include but not limited to : Finance, Business Administration, Economics
• Intern must be able to work 40 hours per week during the 10-week program (May 30 - August 8, 2025)
• Proficiency and understanding of :
• Advanced Excel skills : Piviot tables, VLOOKUPS, and other advanced formulas
• Proficient in other MS office suite applications
• Strong analytical and storytelling skills
• Advanced Financial modeling
• Preferred qualifications
• Enjoys collaboration and works well in team environment
• Comfortable interacting with different levels of leadership and presenting solutions
• Ability to think big picture on projects or tasks
• Prior Telecom experience a plus

Compensation

Internship compensation ranges depend on each individual's level of education, geographic location, and experience / qualifications aligned to the role.

Hourly Based Pay Range :

Min : $22.00 / hour

Max : $35.00 / hour

What to Expect Next

Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for long-term incentive.
