POSITION TITLE : Event Custodian
Location : Edinburg, TX
FLSA : Non-Exempt
Hire Pay : $11 an hour
Classification : Part-Time
JOB DESCRIPTION :
We are seeking a hardworking individual to provide top-quality custodial services, including cleaning event facilities and restrooms.
JOB SUMMARY :
- Performs general, routine custodial duties, including dust mopping, running a floor scrubber, and cleaning restrooms.
- Replenish all toiletries, soap, and paper products.
- Performs routine maintenance of custodial equipment and supplies.
- Empties trash receptacles, disposes trash into compactors and / or dumpsters, and bags trash for proper disposal.
- Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
- Performs cleaning functions specific to the assigned facility requirements.
- Touch up restrooms and floors as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED :
- Receives supervision from the Event Supervisor.
- Must complete jobs without constant supervision.
WORKING CONDITIONS :
The principal duties of this position are performed in an outdoor environment.
ALCOHOL AND DRUG TESTING POLICY :
DLP Staffing has a Drug Free Workplace Policy that includes Post-Accident Testing, Random Testing, and / or Reasonable Suspicion Testing.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
- Must pass a background check.
- Must be available 7 days a week.
