Blue Rose Consulting Group is seeking qualified Mission Ready Reserve (MRR) Child and Youth Military Family Life Counselors (MFLC) to provide as-needed counseling services to support military families.
These roles offer flexible, on-demand opportunities to serve at various military installations and youth centers across Oklahoma and North Dakota.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide face-to-face counseling services to military children and adolescents on and off military installations
- Facilitate health and wellness presentations and training sessions for youth, parents, and school / youth center personnel
- Collaborate with parents, youth center staff, school personnel, and installation command staff to address behavioral issues and provide guidance on youth mental health
- Serve in youth programs, summer camps, and other child-focused activities as needed
- Work closely with military Points of Contact (POCs) to ensure all services meet contractual requirements and the unique needs of the installation
Minimum Requirements :
- Master’s degree in Behavioral Health Professions (MS / MSW / MA)
- Up to 2 years of post-master’s supervised clinical experience
- Valid, unrestricted counseling license in the state of assignment (Oklahoma or North Dakota). Accepted licenses include LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LCPC, LMHC (clinicians under supervision are not eligible)
- Strong understanding of military culture and experience working with military family members
- Ability to work independently to develop, implement, and evaluate intervention plans tailored to individual and family needs
- U.S. Citizenship and fluency in English
- Must pass background and suitability checks, including installation-specific requirements
Desired Experience :
- Previous military service or strong familiarity with the military lifestyle
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
