Audit Manager

Berman Hopkins CPAs & Associates, LLP of Orlando, FL is looking to hire a full-time Audit Manager for our Audit Team . The Audit Manager is primarily responsible for leading all aspects of assurance engagements, from planning to completion, as well as supervision and mentoring of staff, building and maintaining client relationships.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ASSOCIATE AUDITOR

As an accounting professional at our CPA firm, you play a key role in all aspects of assurance engagements, from planning to completion.

You provide technical expertise and guidance to our audit and assurance staff. You manage and develop staff by assisting in recruiting, evaluating performance, training, and career coaching.

You manage multiple engagements concurrently with various teams to meet client and internal deadlines all while monitoring engagement budgets to identify inefficiencies in the audit process.

By directly interacting with clients, you will provide excellent client service by continually building the relationship and goodwill with the client.

You oversee day-to-day operations of the audit engagement, including staffing, planning, assessment of risk, fieldwork, reporting and concluding.

You collaborate with senior managers and partners on client issues and make recommendations on resolution. Helping clients brings you great satisfaction, and it's why you are perfect as an Audit Manager!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN AUDIT MANAGER

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, preferably Master’s degree in accounting
  • Current and valid license as a Florida Certified Public Accountant or professional equivalent
  • Member in good standing with the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and Florida Institute of CPAs (FICPA)
  • Minimum of 6 years experience in public accounting
  • Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills including expertise with US GAAP
  • Exceptional communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing projects
  • Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to represent the firm well
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, project management skills, strong attention to detail, and proven innovative problem solving skills
  • Minimum of 40 hours of continuing professional education annually
