Your Role With Us :
The CT Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging exams, including CT scans and X-rays. The role involves selecting appropriate radiation exposure factors, analyzing images for completeness, and documenting patient history and exam details.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform CT and X-ray exams with minimal radiation exposure.
- Analyze and ensure the completeness of imaging exams.
- Tailor exams to patient conditions and cooperation levels.
- Document patient history and exam details accurately.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment safely.
- Report equipment malfunctions and ensure timely repairs.
- Utilize Radiant Radiology, EPIC, and PACS systems for procedures and record keeping.
- Maintain a clean and well-stocked work area.
- Adhere to radiation safety and medication reconciliation protocols.

Background / Expertise :
- One (1) year experience in CT preferred. Not Required.
- Requires BLS from the AHA within 90 days of hire.
- Must either be licensed in CT by the OBMI OR registered in CT by the ARRT.
- Must be licensed by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) in Radiography.
- Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography.
